For the first time since 2019, the West Virginia Robotics Alliance is proud to be hosting FIRST Tech Challenge events for the 2026-27 BIOBUZZ season. We plan to host two events:
Sunday, December 6, 2026: Scrimmage (matches only, no judging)
Saturday, February 27, 2027: WV FTC State Championship
Our FTC events are open to all teams, from any region.
The 2026-27 West Virginia FTC State Championship will advance one team to FIRST Championship and two teams to FTC Premier Events.

Agenda coming soon!
Both events will be held on the campus of Fairmont State University. Please click here to view a campus map.
Free parking is available in the campus parking garage. From the garage, take the elevator to the top floor, walk across the pedestrian bridge to the Falcon Center Quad, and enter the Falcon Center (scrimmage) or Colebank Gym (championship). The street address of the parking garage is: 1112 Bryant St, Fairmont WV 26554.
For an accessible entrance or large vehicle unloading, continue up Bryant St. to the point marked “Falcon Center Accessible Entrance and Load-In” on the attached map. From there, enter the Falcon Center on the second floor, take the elevator or stairs down to the first floor, then exit to the Falcon Center Quad and enter the Colebank Gym through the double doors. Several accessible parking spaces are located near this entrance – unless you require one of them, please move your vehicle to the parking garage after unloading. The lot above/behind the Falcon Center is for university Faculty and Staff only and you will be ticketed by university police if you park there.
School buses and other large vehicles can park in the gravel lot located across Locust Avenue/US 19 from campus.
We are always in need of volunteers! All volunteers will be provided with breakfast & lunch and a T-shirt, and roles are available for all ages and levels of previous experience. Sign up using the links below:
