The event will be held in the Fairmont State University Falcon Center. Please see this document for an annotated campus map.
Teamwork and skills matches will be played in Falcon Center Gym 1. Team pit areas and practice fields will be located in Falcon Center Gym 2 and the adjacent Colebank Hall Gym.
Free parking is available in the campus parking garage. From the garage, take the elevator to the top floor and walk across the pedestrian bridge to the Falcon Center. The street address of the parking garage is: 1112 Bryant St, Fairmont WV 26554.
For an accessible entrance or large vehicle unloading, continue up Bryant St. to the point marked “Falcon Center Accessible Entrance and Load-In” on the attached map. From there, enter the Falcon Center on the second floor and take the elevator or stairs down to the gyms. Several accessible parking spaces are located near this entrance – unless you require one of them, please move your vehicle to the parking garage after unloading. The lot above/behind the Falcon Center is for university Faculty and Staff only and you will be ticketed by university police if you park there.
School buses and other large vehicles can park in the gravel lot located across Locust Avenue/US 19 from campus.

Additionally, teams have the option to stay in the Bryant Place dorm, just steps from the tournament venue. 20 suites (each accommodating up to 4 people) on a first-come, first-served basis. Suite-style housing includes private bathroom facilities and a shared common area between just a few residents. Each suite contains four beds, two sinks, one common area, one shower room, and one restroom facility.
Each suite is $170 per night. This rate does not include bed linens (sheets, comforter, pillows) or towels (bath & hand).
To reserve suites, contact Haley Cochran, Housing Operations Manager, at haley.cochran@fairmontstate.edu. Include the following information: Group Name, Check-in / Check-out Date, Number of Suites Requested, and Number of People in Group.

Each team will be provided with a 10’x10’ pit area, consisting of a table and 3 chairs under a folding canopy. Canopies are 10’x10’ at the floor and 8’x8’ at the top. Each pit area will also be provided with power. Please feel free to bring flags, banners, decorations, etc. for your pit area!
Each team’s pit area will also include a sign with their team number, name, and location, which you are welcome to take home with you at the end of the event. Information for these signs will be pulled from your team’s profile in RobotEvents and will be produced weeks in advance – be advised that if you change your team name right before the event, that change may not be reflected in your team's pit sign.
Team pits will be split across two different gymnasiums. Teams from the same organization (same team number) will receive pit areas near or directly adjacent to each other in the same gym. Each gym will have pit displays to keep up with the tournament.
Field & Match Info
The main competition area will feature 3 teamwork and 4 skills fields. Each team will be scheduled for 10 qualification matches over 2 days, and will have ample time for skills matches. Skills fields will be open for runs at any time qualification matches are being played. Please consult your event’s agenda for specific times.

Each pit gym will feature a practice teamwork field available for use any time the pits are open. The teamwork fields in the main competition area will not be available for practice use at any time.

Skills fields may be available for practice use throughout the event, at the discretion of event staff and depending on availability and demand. When the skills fields are open for runs, teams wishing to do official runs will take priority over teams wishing to practice.

The flooring surface under all fields will be low-pile carpet tiles. However, the floor under the track and scoring zones will be lined with thin transparent plastic, which we expect will perform similarly to a gym floor or other hard surface. This plastic will be present on all teamwork fields, including practice fields.

The cafeteria in the Falcon Center will be open for lunch on Friday and Saturday. Lunch in the cafeteria is buffet-style for $8 per person. Lunch tickets will be available for purchase in the mornings to speed up the line.
Additionally, the Starbucks and Chick-fil-A locations in the Falcon Center will be open throughout the event (Chick-fil-A closed Sunday).
